Sheikh's Personal Evaluation

The evaluation of this work is very important as we can get an overall summary of the work and a brief assessment and we can see if we meet the requirement of the task.
This part of the work also can help the people to find future reference as well.
We can show the good points and the bad points of the work in the evolutions and the conclusion can be drawn by the evolution.
In the preliminary task the skills we had to demonstrate-
• Camera skills
• 180 degree rule
• Shot reverse shot
• Match and action
• Editing skills
• Framing
• Use of props and costume
We tried our best to produce a work that meets all the requirement of the task. We also tried to show the skills we needed to show in our work.
I didn’t do much of the camera work as I was one of the main characters in the production. I help my group with the editing and checking for any kind of big mistake
In the production like making sure the production goes cording to the storyline. We used a sound track in the end to show the credits so it doesn’t get too boring for the audience. In the beginning it was too long I made it a bit shorter. I learnt how to create credits for the production and how to add music in the work.
So for the setting of the work we had a big discussion and in the end we came in a conclusion that we going to use a class room for our work. But getting a class room in the sixth form was difficult so we had to check which room is going to be empty and when. In the end we found a room in the sixth form block that was empty and we had to manage the time when we can work on the production we had to make time after collage to work on the production as well. For the props we used a box what was the main focus point of the task. For the other props we had to rely on John and I help him to get the props. Using the wooden board as a weapon was our cameraman’s idea.
Because I was one of the main character in the production I had to wear the same costume many times their was times when I had to came to collage wearing the same cloths for three four days on a row. I tried my best to make the production a success. I think in the main production I will try to do work on the camera and direct it. I learned many skills from this task like how to use Video FX and create effects etc. I will try to use theses skill on the second production. I will try to make our own music using garage band and edit it in the production. I will try to improve my editing skills as well for the next task.
